children and thirteen leaders and helpers gathered in the Upper Hall at Holy
Spirit Kenmore to join in fun games and to produce great handmade treasures to

On Thursday 2nd October twenty-five primary school aged
children and thirteen leaders and helpers gathered in the Upper Hall at Holy
Spirit Kenmore to join in fun games and to produce great handmade treasures to
take home to parents.
Split into their various age groups, children enjoyed making cars out of boxes, sea collages, candles and glass candle holders. The older group made some very impressive photo albums as well as a whole host of other great objects.
The day was a huge success and a great way of reaching out to our local community. It was fantastic to have so many helpers beforehand and on the day. Special thanks must go to Julie Murray and Mary Lynn Webb for doing all the catering: their mouth watering biscuits and slices were sure to have children (and adults) coming back time and time again.

Kidsplus+ meets on Monday nights during the school term from 6.30 – 8pm in the Upper Hall. We resume in 2009 on Monday 9 February. Kidsplus+ is for all school-aged children. Please contact Suzanne Claire or Christine Rooney via the Parish Office for more information
