Meet our Parish Team
With the leadership of The Rev'd Jan Crombie, a number of other Clergy and of course the office staff, the Parish Team contribute an extensive range of skills and Christian service to the life of the Kenmore Brookfield Parish.

The Rev'd Jan Crombie
Rector
I have been parish priest of this faith community for two years, and ordained for 21 years. I love being part of the people here as we explore together how to live out the teaching of Jesus Christ. My other passions are family, dogs and walking together (all of us!).
Jane Markotsis
Ministry Assistant
I am a Ministry Assistant and formation student within the parish. I and my family are thrilled to be part of the Kenmore Brookfield parish and look forward to spending the next twelve months learning from the plethora of experienced clergy and lay people during that time. I have a passion for all of God's creatures, great and small, and looks forward to meeting not only you but your feathered, furred and scaly friends in the near future.
The Rev'd David Dean
Assistant Priest
I have been involved in this parish since 1988.1 was ordained in 1994, and have worked here since then as part of the clergy team in a non-stipendiary capacity. I value those years very much, sharing with the Parish community in the wonderful journey of growing in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. And I also much value working with my wife Mary in ministry, and her constant support, time spent with my family now including six adult grandchildren, walking with Mary, and watching sport on TV which I once loved to play.
The Rev'd Graham Dorman
Associate Priest
It is great to feel part of the Kenmore-Brookfield Parish community, and to be able to serve when time and circumstances permit. I was ordained twenty-five years ago and after serving in three Parishes and as hospital chaplain, I retired, only to be asked to establish the Parish of Springfield. Again in retirement, it is good to be able to contribute. Among other interests such as family, gardening, and trying to keep fit, I also enjoy writing poetry, especially sonnets.
The Rev'd Sandra Kjellgren
Associate Priest
It has been a delight to return to the parish of Kenmore-Brookfield upon retiring from full time ministry in February 2020. I have been ordained 27 years and am enjoying connecting with the people of faith in this place, along with the opportunity of providing priestly ministry for the Old Friary Worship Group on Sunday evenings.
The Rev'd Josie Yarham
Associate Priest
I was ordained in 2012 and have enjoyed ministry in parishes and schools. I am honoured to work with Rev Jan as we create a new way of living our faith in community. I amuse myself with music teaching, study and playing board games with my husband and 3 school aged children.
Dr Rachel McFadyen
Lay Preacher
I have been a member of this church community since 1976, except for the years 2014-2017 when I was in St George, Queensland and it is a huge part of my life. I even lived in the Curate’s house for 6 months in 2005! I hope to see out my old age in Kenmore and with this community.
Jen Bradbury
Co-ordinator – Messy Church
As Co-Ordinator of Messy Church I am very aware that the “Jesus Message” must always be at the core of our intergenerational approach to worship. There are many different ways to learn, and as an educator part of the thrill of Messy Mornings is to see the core message emerge through a variety of media/mediums with all ages embracing painting, music, drama, woodwork and the like. It is all Jesus focused but so messy!
Carol Streatfield
Lay Leader, Contemplative Evensong
I have been in the parish since 1999. My greatest wish, and the driving force of all I do, is to share with others a path to experiencing the reality of Christ that is possible. Hence, the various contemplative practices in the parish. Apart from that, I enjoy crafts, and gardening when it’s not too cold, or too hot!
Associate Priests
We are also blessed with Associate Clergy, The Rev'd Geoff Reeder and The Rev'd Dr Colin Nicholson.
