Music is a much-loved part of our worship at Kenmore–Brookfield, helping us to express joy, lament, gratitude, and hope.

Our music ministry includes singers, instrumentalists, pianists, organists, guitarists, and those who support behind the scenes with sound and tech—offering their gifts across traditional, contemporary, and intergenerational services.

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or simply love to sing, you are invited to join in and lift your voice.

Contact our music coordinator, Catherine Plint, for more information.

At Kenmore-Brookfield we take seriously our commitment to walk alongside one another through the changing seasons of our lives.

For those who are unwell or isolated at home our phone care connection team and home visitors offer a listening, pastoral presence. Lay teams provide monthly services and room visits at five local aged care centres.

It’s a quiet but powerful way of living out Christ’s love—and there are many ways to get involved, whatever your time or experience.

This Parish has been involved with Religious Instruction in local schools for many decades.

With other churches in the area, we bring the Christian message into the classroom with trained and accredited volunteers.

Our church spaces—inside and out—are places of welcome, beauty, and gathering.

Whether it’s maintaining the grounds, tending the garden beds, or helping with repairs and upkeep, this hands-on ministry makes a real difference and suits anyone who enjoys practical tasks or time outdoors.

Property and Gardening

From making a cuppa to running events, baking for a stall or helping at the Second Harvest Bookshop, our hospitality and fundraising teams bring warmth, generosity, and creativity to parish life.

Community Hall Hire is another great way to promote connections and raise funds that keep our ministries thriving.

Our liturgical team plays a vital role in shaping the rhythm and richness of our worship life.

From preparing the church space and arranging flowers, to reading scripture, leading prayers, serving at the altar, and assisting with music and sound, it’s a team effort that brings our services to life.

Whether you're experienced or wanting to try something new, there are many ways to get involved—and plenty of support as you learn.

Our finances are overseen by our Wardens and Parish Councillors who are elected by the parish each year at our election of office bearers. Parish Council are responsible for operations of the parish, particularly with regard to governance, property, and financial matters.

If you’re committed to the parish and keen to support its flourishing, Parish Council is a meaningful way to serve.
